This piece is a bosal set belonging to the collection of Al Dunning. Al is a legendary trainer from Arizona who was named AQHA horseman of the year in 1996. The double core bosal is braided in a brown roo and rawhide. Both inner cores are twisted rawhide under plaited roo. The noseband, heel knot and braided headstall buttons are rawhide with 2 roo colors added in I call the box herringbone pattern, which is repeated throughout the set. The decorated main hair mecate was made by Doug Krause. |
