This beta sidepull has a soft
noseband made of super heavy beta. Its main design feature is
that it does not need a jowl strap. Most trail and endurance
riders do not want the jowl strap traditionally found on sidepulls;
they prefer to have some way to lead or tie the horse. Considering
that, the throatlatch, chinstrap and center jowl piece are necessary.
Since the jowl strap usually gets left off, the traditional sidepull
tends to rock forward. Our straight cheek sidepull design keeps
that from happening. The headstall is made of soft 3/4"
black beta with a sewn throatlatch (same as featured on the Deluxe
Endurance Headstalls). It also has an adjustable chinstrap. The
lower throatlatch adjusts on the offside with a buckle and bolt
snap on the on side. (Not shown with bit hangers.) Any beta or
biothane colors can used for the colored overlay. This Sidepull is pictured in red beta over black beta.
