Cutter/beveler: This tool is one of the most important pieces of equipment for braiding (See Figure1, 2 & 3). Use this tool to cut various size strips from the hide (See figure 4). Then cut the strips into strings (see figure 5). Finally, string edges can be beveled with the 45-degree angle (see figure 6). There is also an extra 30-degree angle for those who may need it. Cutting can be performed either from left to right or right to left, if you are left handed.
Features: Polycarbonate sleeves and collar, 5/8" steel shaft, 5/16" steel mounting base, black oxide finish, knurled sleeve tightener, three cutting/beveling positions: 90,45, and 30 degrees, adjustable strap/string widths, easy bench/table attachment, uses injector type razor blades.
